Natural Grower is a nutrient rich organic, vegan fertiliser that is free from any animal matter and made from the by-product of a renewable energy plant that is fed with maize to make electricity for the National Grid. The business which launched last year is Organic Farmers and Growers, The Vegan Society and Soil Association approved and won the GIMA Innovators award in September 2019.

The brand is looking forward to being stocked nationwide in 2020, with a distribution partnership agreement confirmed with Decco. Decco are the biggest national wholesaler and distributor to the garden centre trade, with seven centres located across the UK. They have a sales team of thirty, with many years of experience selling to group and independent garden centres and hardware/DIY stores and also internet retailers. Decco provides a regular delivery service to all their customers via their fleet of vehicles. Charlotte Beaty, Director of Natural Grower said “We are delighted to have partnered up with Decco for the distribution of our products around the UK. We look forward to working with their team over the coming season”.

In addition to partnering with Decco, Natural Grower are now working with Neil Sims. Neil worked with Evergreen Garden Care (formerly Scotts Miracle-Gro) for over twenty years, but he decided to take early retirement in December 2019.

Quickly finding life too quiet, he has set up as a Consultant to use his wide experience of the trade to help new-start or smaller businesses gain a foothold in the garden products market. “We are thrilled to welcome Neil Sims to the Natural Grower team” said Charlotte Beaty. “We have found Neil’s help and advice invaluable and anticipate great times ahead working with him to promote the brand in the market”.
