Garden paving manufacturer, Bradstone, has supported an up and coming designer at this year’s Ascot Spring Garden Show, which showcased Britain’s finest and emerging horticultural talent.
Designed by Tom Hill of Tom Hill Garden Design based in Dorset, the show garden titled ‘On Point’ is a bold and stylish space, focusing on geometric shapes and forms.
With vivid flowers and textured foliage blending in perfect harmony with statement garden features, including inverted pyramid planters and a central water feature finished in 3D geode black tiles, Bradstone donated its popular Manzano® porcelain paving in Pearl, to enhance the design and help create this dynamic garden concept.
Incorporating a distinctive and varied colour blend that creates the appearance of contemporary polished concrete, Manzano® porcelain paving is available in both plain and mosaic design flags in four colour shades, including Pearl, Black, Taupe and Grey.
Paving measuring 1200mm x 600mm was used in the show garden to minimise the visible joints creating a clean cut uninterrupted surface, while the off-white, grey mottled tones of Manzano® in Pearl provides the perfect backdrop for the vibrant planting. Manzano® paving also boasts exceptional strength and durability associated with porcelain with no colour fading.
Andrew Singleton, Sales Director for Bradstone, comments: “We were delighted to be a part of the inaugural Ascot Spring Garden Show at Ascot Racecourse. What Tom and his team achieved was truly outstanding and we’ve enjoyed seeing how he has incorporated our Manzano® porcelain paving in this project. Tom has created such a striking geometric-inspired design with bright, imaginative planting and landscaping combinations, and we hope this demonstrated to visitors how impressive and striking porcelain can be within a garden design.”
Bradstone’s extensive collection of premium porcelain, natural stone, reconstituted stone, edging, walling and other features, such as stepping stones, are available from a nationwide network of stockists.
