Ben Harrison has been promoted to Operations Director of Haskins Garden Centres after 12 years with the family business.
He will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the garden centres and restaurants. As part of his new role, Ben also joins the Main Board of Haskins Garden Centre, alongside Julian Winfield (Chief Executive of Haskins), John Dunlop (Finance Director), Lisa Looker (Brand Director) and Andrew Harris (Buying Director).

Haskins receives multi-award recognition at regional garden centre industry awards
Haskins Snowhill centre has been named ‘Destination Garden Centre of the Year’ in the Garden Centre Association (GCA) South Thames Regional Awards.
The Snowhill centre in Copthorne, West Sussex, scooped up a further two awards on the night, adding The Barton Grange Trophy for Commercial Innovation and Creativity, and The GIMA Award for Best Garden Products Retailer, to its collection of accolades.

After a short illness we are sorry to announce the sad passing of Ken Sharpe. Some will remember him from his days at the Hull company Westdock, starting there in 1959 selling glasshouses across the UK, Ireland and the Channel Islands. After only 3 years and staying within horticulture, he started his own company, initially based in Ireland, he then moved back to Yorkshire in the late 1960’s to carry on his business.
