Town & country reports “phenomenal success” with new charity range

In February this year, leading gardening glove and wellington boot manufacturer, Town & Country launched a new charity partnership with the UK’s leading breast cancer charity, Breast Cancer Now and, just six months later, the company has reported the success of the range.

The partnership saw a limited edition range of charity products being launched, with 10% from the sale of each product being donated to Breast Cancer Now to help fund vital breast cancer research.

There are three products in the range; gloves, secateurs, and a gardening pouch. Each has been designed with the charity’s iconic pink colour scheme in mind, and boast maximum functionality paired with contemporary design, making the tools aesthetically pleasing and easy to spot in the garden.

The products have been popular with stockists and dealers alike with impressive take up across the entire sector. Town & Country has seen demand from garden centres and retailers increase and are available through the extensive Town & Country stockists around the UK.

Consumer demand has been driven by features for the products in The Daily Mail, You magazine, Good Housekeeping and Ideal Home as well Town & Countryas a multitude of gardening and lifestyle publications. In total so far the media coverage has had a reach of almost six million people. In addition to that social media presence for the products has seen 600,000+ social media followers see the products as influential people such as TV presenter Gaby Roslin, best-selling classical recording artist Joanna Forest, as well as other high-profile bloggers have all posted on their Instagram pages about the products. The campaign has also seen the Town & Country brand be placed in front of the 650,000+ social media followers of Breast Cancer Now, as well as the 95,000+ people who visit the website on a monthly basis.
